I had an enquiry about the possibility of providing some decorative glass for three pairs of doors opening into the atrium of a converted farmhouse in Cheshire. Maximum light was required through the glass and on this project coloured glass would detract from the ambiance of the rooms. It was decided to use etched (sandblasted) glass and we used the panoramic views around the farmhouse in the glass design. Due to the regulations we used fire safety glass installed using fire proof intumescent sealant. The client was delighted with the end result.
